HOW DOES INDOOR FOOTBALL DIFFER FROM REGULAR FOOTBALL

Aside from taking place indoors rather than outside, indoor football is played on surfaces such as timber and vinyl floors, and textile carpets. There a number of different types played, including 5-a-side, 6-a-side, futsal and mini-soccer, but the pitch will generally be much smaller than its outdoor counterpart, and feature walls or rebound boards around the outside which the ball can bounce off. These different rules, and particularly the type of flat surface, mean that specialist indoor football trainers are needed.
