Take care of your football shoes and they’ll take care of you
When you’re training indoors every week, you’ll need to keep your football shoes in great condition so you can continue to improve and perform. So, taking care of them is important. Firstly, if you need to wash them at all, to get rid of odours from sweat, you can scrub the inside of the shoe with a mild soap and warm water, using an old toothbrush. You can add the inner soles to a cold wash in the washing machine if needed, and if the sole becomes scuffed and dirty, then just wipe them down with a wet cloth with some warm water. Leave to dry with newspaper stuffed in the shoes to absorb the moisture.
