adidas Parley is a unique collection of sporty footwear and apparel that is literally made from plastic trash recovered from the ocean. Help us take small steps to fight for plastic-free oceans and look good while doing it.
Earth-friendly adidas Parley
The adidas Parley collection is built upon the concept of creating high-quality athletic wear while sustainably protecting the oceans. The products in the collection are part of a collaboration between adidas and Parley that’s intended to be a positive force on the planet on a long-term basis. The initiative works to keep plastic out of the ocean by creating a use for it. The processes used in the Parley initiative make high-performance adidas sportswear out of fibres created by recycling plastic trash. The plastic may be collected from the ocean or gathered before it reaches the ocean.
Each Parley item contains recycled fibres
Every item in the adidas Parley collection is made at least partially from recycled fibres, so you can feel positive about your eco-friendly lifestyle when you choose them. Every item in the X Parley range has at least ¾ upcycled fibre used in its construction. What makes it even better is nothing is sacrificed when it comes to performance. Parley shoes offer the support you need, and the energy return you want and expect from adidas footwear. The uppers are woven from breathable recycled threads and the soles deliver cushioning and optimum traction.
Everyone can participate in the eco-friendly initiative
The collection of adidas Parley shoes and garments includes items for men and women, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the comfortable performance sportswear featured in the Parley collections. The initiative also includes details about A.I.R. which helps customers learn how to avoid the creation of plastic waste, how to intercept and collect plastic trash that’s already in the ocean so it can be used to create sportswear, and redesigning products to make the best use of recycled waste possible. The Parley Outdoor collection includes several examples of the results of the program, including shoes, rain jackets, shorts, socks, and tee shirts.
