tl;dr - Bought this one size up as recommended; overall fit is very flattering. The sale price (£28) definitely made it worth it. I purchased the 32" and usually wear a UK size 6/8. Longer review: Pros ~ 1) The fabric is compressive but comfortable making you feel held—I was happy wearing it even while bloated. It also just feels high quality: thick, but still stretchy, and not see through 🙌🏾; nice to the touch; and a true colour-match to online pictures. 2) I have a fairly big bum so was unsure that I'd be decently covered at the back, but actually the suit manages coverage pretty well without causing serious wedgies or uncomfortable bunching. 3) The strap fastenings can be unhooked on both sides very easily (great for pool safety), however didn't come undone by themselves or loosen while swimming which was great. 4) The cut of the leg is higher than other swimwear I've bought in the past, but I personally like how that flatters my body. Honestly, it's a very pretty swimming costume. ------- Cons ~ 4) The halter strap isn't as 'adjustable' as I expected—only 2 fixed length options. I have a short torso so the long setting was slightly too big/loose around the neck, and the shorter setting tight. 5) My chest felt relatively secure, though more so with the strap attached. I was fine sans strap outside the water, but moving/swimming inside the pool without it felt risky (the top half of the costume kept slipping). I'm a C cup, so not sure how well this would hold up with a bigger bust. Overall I really like this swimsuit and would recommend it to others!
