The socks are too compressive/tight over the ankle-joint, and give discomfort on top of/on the outside of the ankle. The socks would be more comfortable elastic on top of the foot/ankle was not as tight.

I live these socks, they are breathable
I recently tried Adidas socks and have been very impressed with their quality and comfort. The material is soft, breathable, and keeps my feet dry even during long hours of walking or exercising. The cushioning provides excellent support, making them comfortable for daily wear and sports activities.
