I ordered a custom dragon shoes, and was overall pleased with the result. I was worried though since you can't return the customs - for obvious reasons. First, the quality is generally pretty good. What I designed in the picture was what I got exactly - no deviation. I was pleased about that. I generally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in other brands, but my previous adidas from years ago (I had to check) were actually 10s. So I though I'd try a 9 1/2 after hearing that the size ran tight. Well, I think the width is perfect for me, but the shoe is probably true-to-size 9 1/2 since I have alot of extra room at the toe - so they're a bit longer than I'd prefer, they don't look like clown shoes or anything, so I'm still pretty pleased. The quality is generally good from what I can tell, though I haven't worn them for very long. Overally, I like them, and would recommend them - it is a tough gamble given the price and the inability to return, but my gamble happened to pay off! I particularly like this shoe because you can get each stripe in a different color - I got my in Germany's colors, and even added a German flag jewel which I think could've been over-the-top but no actually it looks pretty good. Good luck! Hope my review helps!

I love the look of these shoes but the sizing on the Adidas website is pure fiction. They are way too narrow and at least a half size too short - I'd even guess they were a whole size too short. Stupidly I thought that they just needed breaking in so wore them for a day which was a mistake; I can't return them and they didn't get any better with wear. Kicking myself (with tiny shoes!) that I didn't just courier them back to Adidas straight away but it's too late now. ADIDAS: PLEASE STATE ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT IF YOU BUY THESE SHOES PEOPLE SHOULD ORDER SIZE UP FROM THEIR NORMAL SIZE. Muppets.

Rated 4 out of 5 Perfect shoe, wrong size for me.
The shoe is awesome! I love it! I really like the design and the feel of the shoe. The only problem is that I think I got 1/2-1 size too small of a shoe due to the chart conversion online. I've worn Converse for the past 7 years of my life, and I wasn't sure how the size would convert over to Adidas. I thought to myself, I wear a 6 in women's, which is a 4 in men's. This being a men's shoe, I look for a 4 on the men's size and bought the shoe. I should have looked on the women's side for a 6 and bought whatever size that was on the men's side of the conversion chart! Overall I am still quite satisfied with my purchase and do recommend it to others.

Very comfortable shoes, I must say - it looks great (I love the old school style)!
I took the "new navy / white / gold" - the best looking one for me ...You will not regret it if you buy them!
+ In my opinion, are not as tight (narow) as people described it here ... A perfect fit for my foot, in fact.

I've always loved Dragon's and have owned numerous pairs over the years. You can't go wrong with them, they're perfect with jeans and great with shorts for a relaxed summer look.

Brilliant trainer and definitely one of the best Adidas do. Go perfectly with jeans and are very comfortable. Very good quality and I've had one pair (my first proper pair of Adidas classics) in grey for almost 3 years and they're still in decent condition. Worn them to see The Stone Roses, a couple of festivals and countless football matches and still in great nick! Other than a bit of wear on the sole (which has got to be expected seeing how much they've been worn) if you stick them in the washer they come out as if they were new! Adidas at their best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by City Runner Good buy but be careful.
I had the original Dragon shoes a little time a go and they were great.I decided to buy a new pair but they were quite different from the first ones. They were narrow and for guys with big feet I recommended a 1/2 to 1 size big and be careful before wear it,to see if both feet are not defective. I bought mine 3 weeks ago and the left foot was very different from the right foot. The positive point was ADIDAS customer service. They were "GREAT and EFFICIENT" as always, and send me a new pair after 2 days of my complain. In general, the Dragon Shoes are worth a try!

Rated 4 out of 5 by DaveORedsaint Think I would go for leather alternative
These trainers are a fairly narrow fit, so I tended not to fasten the laces to tight as they had a tendancy to dig in to the top of the foot. Size wise, buy the size that you are and not ½ size above or below as adidas sizings are fairly spot on.
Surprisingly, given that they are a narrow fit and have a very shallow sole compared to other trainers that I normally wear they were comfortable and although the sole is fairly stiff, there was still flexibility so as not to feel like walking on planks.
Not sure how the material would hold up in the wet though compared to the leather Samba trainers.
