LE MONDE FC

Le Monde FC has a clear vision, that football can be used to transform the lives of kids’ and help them build a brighter future. This is shown in their tagline ‘Football as an enabler to become a better version of yourself.’ Giving young people the opportunity to use football as a starting point to turn their lives around, is at the heart of what Le Monde does.

In an area of Paris, where 40% are exposed to the risk of exclusion, it is perhaps more important than ever to ensure that young people are given a safe path out of what they’ve been born into. Le Monde provides kids from age 11-15 with the tools to take on adult life and helps set them up for success.

The goal is to combine football with social integration and help more and more kids to transition to adulthood, as the best version of themselves. Le Monde literally means “the world” and now it means the world for hundreds of Parisian youngsters.

The club gives kids a chance to use football as a way to better their lives by making sure that on the field they have an exemplary attitude, show resilience and solidarity and that off the field they develop skills that will enable them to succeed. The coaches at Le Monde want the skills they learn to stay with them for life, so they regularly follow up with the children's families and school teachers to make sure the kids stay on the path the club has put them on.

Now, with the help of adidas, Le Monde aims to reduce risk of exclusion further and help more kids finish school by offering two free training sessions per week, helping kids with homework and showing them potential career options. The goal is to combine football with social integration and help more and more kids to transition to adulthood, as the best version of themselves. Le Monde literally means “the world” and now it means the world for hundreds of Parisian youngsters.
