Rated 5 out of 5 multi use, timeless, minimalist and casual smart.
i'm self employed and love sambas because i dont need to wear awful office type shoes that city boys wax lyrical over. Forget polish, forget weatherproofing, forget runnign trainers, forget hiking boots, forget wellies. These bad boys are the most 'minimalist' shoe around as you can wear them for everything - lightweight, smart, casual and even better after a few years when they mould to your feet and look 'scruffed'.
If you want a smarter look with the sambas, wear a wool or tweedy blazer and denim jeans. casual look try sambas, jeans and grey t shirt. if you want to 'go minimalist' then take your socks & the inner cushion sole out.

This purchase took me right back to the 70's - classic timeless look, fit and quality. In these days of Retro fashion, it's nice to see Samba at their very best.

Rated 3 out of 5 by adigaz this product should be called SAMBA USA
it is totally diiferent to the much loved UK samba that was so popular on the terraces in the 70s and 80s . this version of the samba was available in the usa and totally different to its uk counterpart. please adidas , re-issue the samba as it was in the uk in about 1974. leather tongue with the classic blue tab on it... a true classic

This adidas Samba classic is a fantastic shoe. It is my prefered shoe for playing football and do other indoor sports. I tried all kind of makes and modells. Good control of the ball, but more importantly of your movements. Basically no suspension or whatsoever, but this actually makes it perfect. You feel the ground, maybe just like barefoot. The upper material is made of leather which makes it more robust than "plastic" materials and mould around your foot.
I also have the Samba Super (with suspension layer?), might look fashy, but to high to have proper control of movements.

If it ain't broken don't fix it. Stays true to the original design. I have been wearing this make and type of trainer for more years than I care to remember. They were in fashion then and remain in fashion now. Stylist and comfortable and a good price. I bought them on line and delivery time was good. Also used a discount code so got money off and free postage. Well worth visiting the on line store.

Rated 2 out of 5 by jm84 foot arch pain
These shoes look great and are made with quality materials. However, I am not happy with them, since the right one gives me foot arch pain. It seems that the bridge in the insole is too high and hard. Weirdly enough, it only happens with the right foot, left one feels comfy and just right. I do not have flat foot, just slight over-pronation, and never had any problem with adidas sneakers (I have actually always played football with adidas boots).

Bought these for my self as all I wear are Adidas trainers but were very uncomphy compared to samba supers and forest hills. You have to have very thin feet for these to be comphy. Not my thing, I'll stick to samba supers and forest hills.
