Received my HRM a little over a year ago and it worked quite well for about 4-5 months. Then the heart rate readings became erratic. I replaced the battery which did not fix the problem. Next I got in touch with Adidas support team and they offered to replace the HRM textile chest strap. This solved the problem for about 3-4 months but now the erratic heart rate readings are back again. I'm very disappointed about the quality and reliability of this product. I was surprised to see a repeating failure mode suggesting design flaws. I cannot recommend this product to anyone interested in monitoring the heart rate during regular workouts.

This heart rate monitor is great! It's extremely accurate and works very well with the miCoach app. The textile strap is comfortable and easy to adjust, put on, and remove.
Also, as a woman, it's not noticeable at all when I wear it under my shirt.
I have had some connectivity issues when my phone is in my backpack. The app kept saying "Bluetooth found. Bluetooth lost. Bluetooth found. Bluetooth lost..." nonstop without a break. But when I looked at the results afterwards, it appeared uninterrupted.
Don't forget to take it off after you're done working out. Otherwise the dried sweat makes your skin bond to the connective part of the strap and it hurts to take it off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Vintouch Good Product, App campatibility can be better
The product is good, but it doesn't pair with S-Health app on my samsung Galaxy S4. I was looking for pairing it with S-Health as it gives an option to track calories burnt and calories consumed.
This device pairs only with micoach app. But this app doesn't have an option of tracking calories consumed... so its difficult to keep-up with my wait-loss goals !!! Now I have to use SHealth and MiCoach. Using two apps (instead of one) would drain the battery of any phone :(
Below adds would be better
Should pair with SHealth app or
an option to track calories consumed in micoach app.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WJackson Train better with HR
I've had the HR strap for about a year now and I have found that it has helped a lot with improving my training. The range is really good where i can wear the strap on court and have my phone linking 15m away. I do have the Fit Smart now which i wear most of the times but when your playing sport you aren't always able to wear a watch. I find the HR strap to be more accurate then the Fit Smart. I have to wash the strap after each session or it can get a bit smelly. After 12 months use i haven't had to replace the battery.

I have used this for a few months, a few weeks into using it the readings on any phone are useless. I wet the strap, i don't wet the strap, it makes no difference. I have 2 Samsung G4s, one is a G4 mini. Both display the same garbage. I wear it every time i go out and maybe 5 to 10 miles into my run it starts to settle in. I have used Digi fit, Map My Run, Strava, Adidas, they all show the same. I also have a hydration vest with a pocket for my phone right next to the device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by David M Not a good experience with Windows Phone
Well first of all the device needs a little improvement, the actual heart rate monitor doesn't stays on the strap, I had to be constantly checking it doesn't unbuttoned from the strap. And the app for the windows phone is really far behind compare to other running apps on the OS. Looses track of the GPS if the screen locks, which beats the whole purpose of the app. It might work better with other phones, but in my case I did not meet my expectations. I'm returning my item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mithralender Excellent Product
It's great to be freed from the Connect, now that BLTE is available. The only downside is that the HRM strap continues to have some minor issues. I actually was forced to upgrade from my old equipment b/c the strap died after ~ 2 years of routine use. The new strap does not always register correct HR, unless it has electrode gel applied at the beginning of the workout. Otherwise, I am very happy with the product and it's interface with the mobile app.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ggonzalez777 Really great gear for Micoach app on Windows Phone
I absolutely love this product!! I use it to do cardio (stationary bike) and the using Micoach website, I created a plan to lose weight. The app on windows phone makes it easy to pair the heart rate monitor. The only thing I recommend is to not over stretch the band, it seems very sensitive to that it starts to create creases in the elastic and could eventually damage the electrodes.

As far as I know, this works great. I can't tell, though, as it does not work for Android yet. Once Google finally updates the Bluetooth stack with 4.0 (BTLE), hopefully Adidas will update the micoach app to work with the sensor. In the meantime, it does not work with Android, it does not work with the iPod Touch 4G. It will only work with the newest iPhones and the iPod Touch 5G.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark59 Great Performance Monitoring Product!
I've used this for over 2 years to in the Gym with cycle classes to monitor elapsed time, heart rate & calories burnt. I use the micoach app on my iphone & sit it in front of me so I can monitor my heart rate & calories burnt during the class (you can't do this with watch based monitors). Great performance monitoring!!
