Rated 4 out of 5 by Great lower half, Weak upper half Obviously this is just a personal preference. But while I love the cushioning and the perfect rise from front to back, I do not like the upper half construction. The upper half feels like a sock, not a shoe. It is flimsy enough that a quick turn or a slope will cause your foot to shift inside the shoe. I am a little concerned that a second of not paying attention to my foot striking the pavement will cause a turned ankle or a fall. I run in a very hilly area and prefer a bit more substance than this upper half. But in optimum conditions it is a very comfortable shoe and has plenty of cushioning. 27 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by So Far So Good The Energy Boost 2.0's are pretty darn good, at least they have been for my first 3 runs. I have done 3, 4 and 7 miles with them and I give them a solid A so far. I am 66 and have only been a runner for 3 years. In analyzing my style, I am definitely a heel striker that needs a lot of cushion. Asics Gel Nimbus has been great but I switched over to Hokas for the extra cushion in February. I wear a size ten shoe, eleven in Asics and Hokas, and the "sizer" said I needed an 11 1/2 so I went with that and I am glad because 11 would have been too small for sure. I guess I would like them to be a bit wider but they still feel great. I have 5 races next month so I will run at least 3 of them in the Adidas and the rest in the Hokas and see how they do. 28 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best shoe ever I have very sensitive feet and this shoe is the best one i have run in. I have been running for 10+ years and have run in many different shoes and I can say with out a doubt that this is the best! I have a narrow foot and it was just right for me so I will say it is runs narrow but that is great for me! 13 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Same great sole; more plush upper I purchased the original Boost shoes when they came out last year and absolutely love them. Although v1.0 and v2.0 look the same, there are some significant differences between the two versions. The new shoe fits much more true to size. I originally ordered my v2.0 shoes a 1/2 size larger than normal, as I did for v1.0, but this was a mistake. The new shoes run much more true to size, so I returned them and purchased the shoe in the size I normally wear. These fit great. The upper is also much more plush on v2.0 than v1.0, especially in the tongue. While the added material means that the new shoe doesn't quite feel as much like an extension of your foot as the original; the update feels great and seems to correct the pressure point issues some runners experienced with v1.0. Also, the v2.0 shoes seem to sit a little higher off of the ground than the originals. That said, the feel of the shoe and cushioning are just as good as in the original. Love these shoes and think that they're the best looking Boosts yet. Will definitely buy another pair when these need to be replaced. 07 March 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Just received mine.. I've been looking at the blue Energy Boost 2.0's for some time and finally pulled the trigger. I just received in the mail and have had the opportunity to run in them on day 1 and lift in them on day 2. I'll run again tonight. Very comfortable, great cushion, bounce back, and phenomenal look - the best out there imo. My question however, is do they loosen up during break-in? 20 years as an adult on this planet, I've always worn a Size 12, no issues whatsoever. This shoe is very tight as my toes are pushing at the front more than I've ever had. Some say size up .5. Unfortunately at a 12, it's either that or a 13. I'm staying with the 12 for now. Will they stretch slightly? Thx. 24 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Runnin' on a whole new level Being on the varsity XC team, I needed a shoe that would take me to the next level. I recently bought a pair of energy boost 2.0's and i have to say... BEST RUNNING SHOE EVER!!!! The Boost midsole is soooo responsive; just what I was looking for w/out being over-plush. The tech fit upper really fitted like a glove. The rest of the shoe was spot on; no sliding around or anything else. Great work adidas! I really can't wait to see an Energy Boost 3.0 20 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than original I recently purchased the Boost 2.0 and somehow adidas have managed to make a sure better than the original Boost. The cushioning is about the same, but the fit of the shoe is much improved. The additional padding in the tongue gives the shoe a much more snug fit, and overall the shoe just feels even better on your foot. Running in these, as with the original boost, is an absolute joy. Each step gives you a distinct bounce, and I find that even after longer runs, it is my lungs that want to quit, not my legs. I would highly recommend these shoes to any and everyone. As others have noted, drop a half size to get a snug fit. 09 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great feeling running... Love these shoes!! I have spurs and plantar fasciitis on my right foot and i wasn't able to run every day because of pain. With these shoes and the right insoles, i've been running 6 days a week and the pain is controlled. 17 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good shoe but traction lacks on wet surfaces Overall this is a good running shoe. I've owned this pair for 6 months. The upper takes a little getting use to even though I bought a half a size bigger. I also bought my wife a pair of the women's and she said the same thing. It felt really tight for the first month. Felt as if I lost feeling in my small toe during the first few weeks running in this shoe. I average about 15 miles a week and you can really feel the soft impact when compared to my other running shoes. That being said I've run right after a rain storm on asphalt and concrete and I felt as if I were going to slip with every step. I had to switch out to another shoe to get better traction. I really wish Adidas built in an all-weather-sole for this shoe. Hopefully they will on the next version. Hears hoping someone at Adidas listens to there customers. 30 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Trainers I started with energy boost 1.0 about half a year ago. They were amazing! How did they make the 2.0s better?! They wore bare around 700-800 miles within that time. (Surprising because they have very shallow traction padding on the outsole anyway) I love these shoes! No really they're great! I wouldn't recommend anything else and neither would my 3 other team mates that love them. (One of them is 200lbs and about 6ft tall! He does 20 milers often in them) These shoes are all around solid trainers. They are more suited to road, groomed trails or track running. But rough trails aren't impossible. They are very comfortable most realistically form the half mile to a 13 mile run. If you need a new trainer. Get the Energy Boosts totally worth the money! 09 July 2014

How to get the right fit

First, don't measure your feet in the morning; feet often swell during the day due to heat and activity. For the best fit, measure your feet at the end of the day.

To measure your shoe size follow these instructions:

Place a piece of paper on the floor with one end against a wall. Stand on the piece of paper with your heel against the wall. Mark the piece of paper where your toes end with a pencil.

Measure from the end of the piece of paper to the mark you created with your pencil and compare the measurement to our sizing chart.

Choose the right size

That's easier said then done. Because, what do you do if you are in between two sizes?

In this case it might be safest to go for the size up, rather than the size down. And you know what? You can just try them on at home.

Not the right size? Don't worry! Return your items for free within 30 days. Your parcel will be picked up at home, work or wherever in the country you prefer. Check out our return policy for more details.
