Rated 4 out of 5 by A good shoe, but... This is the first Adidas running shoe that I did not love. Don't get me wrong, it's a good shoe with a lot going for it. Very comfortable, cushioned well, arch support was marginal but adequate. I just couldn't get used to a shoe being that light. I wore these for 6 months, running 40 miles per week, and they held up great. I replaced them with Tempo 6, and at 9 ounces they just felt right. If you like an ultralight shoe, I definitely recommend these. I just like a little heavier shoe. 04 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A very light and fast shoe This is by a big margin the lightest shoe I've ever run in. Even though so far the runs have been fairly short and most of them in frosty conditions, I managed to get a good feel for them once the frost was gone. Even in the slightly slippy conditions the grip is pretty good, although I didn't dare go very fast. In dry conditions the shoe has a solid grip, fits like a glove and almost invites you to pick up the pace. I can't wait to have a proper long run in these. The overall fit is slightly tighter than I'm used to with Adidas. I deliberately went with my normal shoe size as I normally find there to be plenty of room. Here the toe box in particular is tight, although not uncomfortably so. Perhaps choosing a half size up from your normal may be the way to go. I've been suffering from a bit of IT strain lately but so far in these shoes not even a hint of any pain, despite very cold conditions. 31 December 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by wrong material I loved the material used on the previous takumi`s but the recent one`s have sort of a nylon weave which to me is not as comfortable and as flexible as the old takumi`s. 15 January 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent racers These are almost best I have used. Even I´m heel runner, I have had no problem with these shoes. I have run1 marathon, 2 halv marathon and shorter races and I really recommend these for every one. Even heel is low, there is enough cushion, transition works and grip is good as well.. 04 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light means FAST Slightly wider toe box than other adidas running shoes I have used, which have been primarily the Adios and Adios Boost, but still an excellent fit. I think it seems a wider toe box due to the lack of material, however this makes the shoes very light and feel as though you don't actually have any shoes on! During running, they feel light and fast, with responsiveness similar to the adios but with less cushioning. I feel these shoes are best for an out and out race shoe. Highly recommended! 10 December 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Buy I have bought many different running shoes but these seem to have everything. They are light, comfortable and give stability. I'm looking forward to my first race. 16 December 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Without equal I've owned A LOT of running shoes from various brands. A few years ago I discovered the Adizero Adios brand and five pairs later have never owned a better running shoe...... until now. These are basically the same shoe but somehow feel like an extension of my skin. They are that comfortable. The best running shoes bar none. 04 December 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cutting edge design for speed on the track I love the lightweight, good cushioning, support & excellent grip on the soles. Great design by a Japanese shoe designer who seeks perfection in his work. 06 December 2014
