Rated 3 out of 5 by CnR Buy your right size
If you buy a size too big they tend to flop and are hard to stay on your feet without tripping. So buy the right fit in order to enjoy your slides.

Rated 1 out of 5 by soccerfan7 Quality has gone down hill.
I had a pair of these adidas adillete slides that I bought probably in 1995. They lasted for approx. 10yrs. There were of VERY high quality. The strips never faded, the rubber next to your feet never broke down. They were truly quality!
Unfortunately, the current version of these slides:
The white stripes started to peal and chip, as they are now painted on, within a week of having them. The rubber under my heal and toes is really broken down and slowly disintergrating.
You can tell that the quality of the build was completely changed.
I have a friend w/ the old style/design that he infrequently wears, and they are probably 10yrs old, and they are perfect. Mine looked worse than his after 6 months w/ light only light usage.
PLEASE BRING BACK PREVIOUS DESIGN/QUALITY.
I would pay twice the cost for the old one.
Sad to see such a quality product go away, especially a classic great slide as this once was.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SLNat Cheaper quality now...
I have been wearing Adidas Adilette's in a womens size for over 20 years now. Most recently I ordered one online and the sizing has changed to a Unisex size and doesn't fit my womens size foot at all. Comparable unisex size is too wide and the arch isn't high at all. I then ordered a customized slipon and the quality was really bad - Hard plastic footbed, low arch and cheap looking strap - Made in China, ofcourse!
For the past 20+ years I have been buying them Made in Italy. Please bring back the Italian version for the women's foot. Till them I will be buying a comparable NIKE slipon!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by barbs greatest slides ever
i have worn these slides every summer for the last 15 yrs. i use them as house/dog walking slides. about three yrs ago i decided they were getting old and i needed a replacement. so i bought a new pair but they had little nubs in the foot bed. so i went back to my old ones. finally this year i threw them out because i didn't want them to break while i was out walking the dog. i looked all over but couldn't find them retail. i went online and was so happy to find the original style. they arrived quickly and fit perfectly. i hope to have at least 10 good yrs wearing these. i hope the red ones come back in stock so i can order them too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Samba_Man Changed just slightly, still great
Had to replace the old ones. Slightly different lining. I prefer the old white lining, but the new one wouldn't keep me from buying another pair. For those not in the know, you need to size down, especially for those with a narrow foot. I take a size 11 U.S. for my Sambas, and go all the way down to a 9 for the adilette.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FlyerFan88 Nice but $$
These are popular with the kids in college who need shower shoes - as well as to simply wear around campus. My only complaint is they are so expensive, and there really isn't anything to them to justify the higher price.. It would be nice if they were around 20.00 - 25.00 max. It would give the kids a break from all their other expenses!

I have been buying these slides for many, many years and I agree with the previous reviewer. This slide is only being made for men and they want the women to try and fit into the mens. They just slid right off my feet!!! Also, I was very disappointed that the arch is definitely not as good and the top of the shoe is much cheaper quality. It is not the same slide I just loved. The fact that they have altered the quality of the shoe so noticeably, nullifies the importance of making the women's version. Why do companies have to change what has worked for years!!! I just can't believe I am not going to be able to wear my Adidas anymore!!! I loved them so, so much!!!!
