Rated 3 out of 5 by Bring back leather Barricades! I made a pair of the leather Barricades three years ago in black and metallic silver. I get a million compliments. I save them for special tennis games since they're past their prime. Please oh please let me have a new pair! These Stella nylon ones are wimpy looking! 23 January 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheap plastic junk I have been a faithful Barricade customer for years now. The remodelling this past year has me giving up on Adidas and trying New Balance or K-Swiss. The cheap plastic coating on these pinches the tops of my toes in a crease when I start to walk. There is no sense of the sturdiness and grounded feeling you get from the old model. I'm sure they've used cheaper materials to reduce production costs and pass the savings along to shareholders. All athletic shoes are over-priced to begin with, and made in sweat shops, but I draw the line at paying 170.00 for plastic shoes that won't last more than a month or two. Interesting that the men's shoes haven't been changed--just the women's. Women will buy cheap, 'pretty' stuff just to look good, right? No thank you. 27 November 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Barricade Forever Been wearing Barricades since the #2 version came years ago and this pair is different than the past models as these ones are a lot lighter and more sleeker. So that's good. 20 August 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shoe! Stylish & comfortable shoe. Runs almost a size too big but order down and you'll be fine. 30 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Barricades are back!!! I was so disappointed when the barricades 7 came out, that I thought I would never go back to adidas shoes, then I saw these and they looked so much better and the style was so cool, that I decided to take the risk... and I must say I LOVE them! Great support, still a bit sleek but they made it work, they are very breathable. I wouldn't say they need a break in period, but still don't panic on the first day, the material is a bit stiff, but it truly loosens up very quickly! 08 July 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Super Cute but TOO BIG Many pluses: super cute, comfy, and Stella name -- need I say more? However, there must've been a serious mix up with the fit models. I've always been a size 6 in Adidas tennis shoes. These shoes are maybe a full size too big. My tennis doubles partner purchased a pair, too, and she has same problem -- too big! In short, no matter how cute and comfy, these shoes are totally useless to me if I can't wear them. 12 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them! Barricades have always been my favorite however some of them can look clunky. FINALLY Adidas styled a pair that is more sleek and lighter. I've gotten a lot of compliments and people asking where I got them. They feel just like my other barricades but with less weight. I am hoping there are more to come with colors and similar styles next season (maybe with some black accents?) 21 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable & Cute Doesn't need much breaking in, reviews I have previously read say that it is too narrow but I have pretty wide feet and it was fine for me. Love the way they look and the baby blue color! I am sometimes a size 7.5 or 8 but got an 8 in these. I probably could have gone for a 7.5 but may have been a little snug. 14 March 2014

How to get the right fit

First, don't measure your feet in the morning; feet often swell during the day due to heat and activity. For the best fit, measure your feet at the end of the day.

To measure your shoe size follow these instructions:

Place a piece of paper on the floor with one end against a wall. Stand on the piece of paper with your heel against the wall. Mark the piece of paper where your toes end with a pencil.

Measure from the end of the piece of paper to the mark you created with your pencil and compare the measurement to our sizing chart.

Choose the right size

That's easier said then done. Because, what do you do if you are in between two sizes?

In this case it might be safest to go for the size up, rather than the size down. And you know what? You can just try them on at home.

Not the right size? Don't worry! Return your items for free within 30 days. Your parcel will be picked up at home, work or wherever in the country you prefer. Check out our return policy for more details.
